- Be up to date with levy returns
- Meet CITB grant eligibility requirements

Important: Grant claims must normally be submitted within 52 weeks of the qualification achievement date.

Important 2026 CITB Funding Changes
CITB introduced major changes to grants and funding in January 2026 to focus support on long-term skills and workforce development.
Most short course grants moved to Employer Networks funding
Long qualification achievement grants standardised at £600
Attendance grants for long qualifications removed
Level 7 qualifications starting after 8 Dec 2025 no longer eligible
