Who Is This For
Retrofit assessors are a required role under PAS 2035, which governs how retrofit is delivered for all publicly funded domestic projects. No retrofit project can move forward without a proper assessment, and assessors are essential to every job. You must be a qualified retrofit assessor to carry out assessments on homes involved in government-funded schemes.
The Level 3 Retrofit Assessor qualification enables professionals to carry out detailed home assessments as part of the PAS 2035 retrofit framework. This qualification supports your ability to:
Conduct Whole-House Assessments
Assess a property’s condition, occupancy, energy performance (via EPC), ventilation, and retrofit risks.
Go beyond a basic EPC by providing a comprehensive view of how the building works and what it needs.
Provide essential information that guides design decisions and ensures measures are appropriate and safe.

- This qualification requires candidates to be aged 18+ with basic IT Skills. Experience in the industry would be a benefit.
